Katie Dohman and her husband, William are a super awesome, creative couple whom I was really lucky to have had a booth next to at No Coast Craft-O-Rama last year. Katie blogs for Scout and is the other half of Oh Dier, a sign business she has with her husband. Katie was kind enough to blog about our 2nd Annual Valentine’s Day Studio Sample Sale . 2011 was a year of change for Carrier Pigeon. Moving into our own studio was HUGE and it seemed like as soon as I made the move, all kinds of amazing things happened. I picked up a super great wholesale account, had great success at No Coast and made some new industry buddies & connections….just to name a few. It’s comforting to know that my theory of “you must make great change to expect great change” was supported. Making even the smallest shifts in your universe can truly blow your mind. Doubt is very real and I live with it everyday but I am more excited by taking some risks and I think I’m in a pretty good space to start doing that….which should be great for the creation of my next collection of jewelry.
