French for "dear friend", Cher Ami is a collection of vintage, salvaged and antique pieces that still have a message to deliver…still have some life left in them. These are one-of-kind pieces for which I have carved the proverbial wooden leg.

Cher Ami was the most righteous Carrier Pigeon EVER.

Trained and used by US soldiers in WWI, Cher Ami helped save a lost battalion of trapped soldiers by delivering a crucial message, despite being shot in the breast, blinded in one eye and having his leg shot off by German soldiers. It’s cool though; the 77th infantry was kind enough to carve him a little wooden leg!
